Position Overview:

We are actively searching for a full-time experienced Project Engineer to join our growing team in Colorado.  The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated solid performer who will be ultimately responsible for maintaining Dynalectric’s standard of excellence and delivering projects with the utmost attention to safety and detail.  This position will work Monday through Friday 7:00am-4:00pm, with occasional opportunity for overtime. This position offers weekends off as well as working in a great team environment. Competitive pay range $55,000 - $85,000.

 The Project Engineer will possess:

  • College degree in Construction Management or equivalent construction experience.
  • Minimum one (1) year construction experience.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications required for preparing, analyzing, monitoring, reporting, and presenting; and experience within the Windows environment.
  • Proven interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills necessary to effectively communicate with employees, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, transparent team environment.

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Set up project budgets and cost breakdown.
  • Set up and manage project document control.
  • Obtain electrical, fire alarm and other permits.
  • Manage shop drawing process
  • Prepare, submit, track and monitor RFI’s
  • Assist PM with management of design change directives and other changes
  • Assist Project Superintendent with layout drawings and other coordination/installation documents.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed CPM schedules and work breakdown structure.
  • Assist in material and equipment management including ordering materials, issuing PO’s, coordinating and scheduling deliveries, verifying receipt, etc.
  • Assist Field Supervision with as-build drawing updates.
  • Prepare and submit final closeout documents, as-builts and O&M’s.
  • Assist Field Supervision with MOP’s and other related paperwork.
  • Track job labor cost and appropriate cost coding.
  • Assist Field Supervision in obtaining and tracking rental equipment
  • Work with Safety Manager to support safety audits, safety task analyses, incident reports and other safety documentation and OSHA recordkeeping.
  • Assist other teams and departments as required to maintain a smooth organizational workflow.

COMPENSATION RANGE:  Salary range for this position is $55,000 - $85,000.00 an hour and is based upon years of experience that is commensurate with the level of the position.

OTHER COMPENSATION:  May be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus in accordance with Company policy.
