In this role you will be under close supervision of a degreed professional, and complete routine technical support assignments. Your assignments are designed to develop a working knowledge of policies, practices, and procedures related to field of study. This is a developmental position for college interns who are pursuing a technical field of study.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Manager and Construction Manager in on-site field construction activities associated with the completion of a large Federal construction project.
  • Makes observations, perform inspections, and maintain documentation.
  • Prepares required field and office reports of various activities and findings.
  • Reviews, verifies, and formats information into reports for use within and outside the unit.
  • Prepares accompanying correspondence and distributes reports as directed.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in technical curriculum at an accredited college or university and completed typically 1+ years of study.
  • Familiarity with tasks, techniques, and PC software packages typically associated with field of study.
  • Must have an strong interest in construction and/or the construction industry.
  • Must have US person status to obtain federal government project accesses.

This position pays a minimum hourly rate of $14.23 and a maximum hourly rate of $24.13.
