Construction Laborer (3rd Shift)

If you're looking for a career that offers innovation and values its co-workers then join our growing team at our Denver, PA facility.  We are currently seeking co-workers to join our  team that starts at 11:00 pm, 12:00 am, or  3:00 am, Sunday - Thursday

Positions start at $18 or more an hour depending on experience

***Night shift employees receive $3 shift differential for any hours worked between 5pm and 5 am

Candidates can expect to work 50-60 hour weeks regularly

***Over time paid for any hours worked over 8 hour shift

Production Laborers are part of the Construction Worker team and handle the setup, stripping and pouring on Concrete for the purpose of building parking garages, sports complexes and office/retail buildings. 

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Pulls pieces out of concrete molds
  • Works with a team that utilizes overhead cranes to lift precast building components out of form molds
  • Cleans and prepares product prior to secondary finishing operations to prepare product for storage utilizing a wet grinder
  • Prior to detentioning the product, will break cylinders provided by the Pouring Crew by taking them to the Block-Crusher. The Block-Crusher then measures the number of pounds to crush the block. This coincides with what is provided by the Engineering team to determine if the piece is up to High standards.
  • Cuts strands from pieces, grinds the pieces, blocks the concrete pieces on the trailer to go outside
  • Utilizes blocking to secure the panel on the trailer

Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED)
  • Basic math & measurement skills needed as well as knowledge of various hand, power & measurement tools
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment are critical
  • Prior concrete and/or construction experience is helpful, but not required
  • Familiarity with reading blueprints a plus!
