Construction Carpenter

Pay: $20.00–25.00/hour + $250 Weekly Per Diem

Hours: Monday – Saturday | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Location: Ruston, LA

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Carpenter to join a growing construction team in Ruston, LA. This position offers steady hours, competitive pay, and a $250 weekly per diem for qualified candidates. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial or industrial construction, be dependable, and take pride in producing quality workmanship.

Job Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair building frameworks and structures
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
• Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and other building materials
• Install walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows, and trim
• Build and dismantle concrete forms and scaffolding as needed
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all OSHA safety standards and company policies
• Work effectively with supervisors and other trades on the job site

Qualifications

• Previous carpentry or commercial construction experience required
• Ability to read a tape measure and construction plans
• Proficient with common hand and power tools
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site
• Strong work ethic, attendance, and attention to detail
