We are seeking a dynamic connectivity project manager to support Operational Excellence growth objectives for Connected Factory.

As the Connected Factory Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the overall Connected Factory plans for all Pratt & Whitney Operations (Manufacturing Module Centers and P&W Business Units).

This position will support the business processes, documentation, and training plans that support the enterprise implementation schedule for Connected Factory initiatives.

This individual will be part of the Connected Factory team responsible for creation of the new business processes, standard work and training materials, train the trainer roll out, and interface with the factory site leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support & lead the Machine Connectivity effort thru Pratt US sites
  • Work with Connected Factory machine connectivity staff to support managing of site efforts to close infrastructure gaps
  • Lead and work with connectivity suppliers to connect machines per the standard Pratt machine connectivity standard (to Kepware)
  • Support progression of connectivity efforts by DXC and site subject matter experts to complete machine connectivity process
  • Maintain solid progress tracking of initiatives
  • Lead Connected Factory enterprise level tracking of customer master data efforts in support of Ortems (Dynamic Scheduling software)
  • Review the business processes for compliance with P&W financial and materials policy and procedures.
  • Identify risk and potential mitigation plans, make adjustments according to regularly changing priorities and scheduling conflicts.
  • Communicate bottlenecks and gaps that impact the overall plan by managing resources for the success of each implementation site; team members, software/hardware performance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • US Citizenship required due to government contracts
  • 7+ years of work experience in operations, supply chain, materials, project management, or engineering.
  • 7+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office Suite
