This role involves performing concrete testing, monitoring curing conditions, and verifying compliance with specifications.

Inspect bed set-up to ensure reinforcement, plate locations, and structural connections align with shop drawings.
Identify and document nonconforming items, notifying the appropriate personnel for corrective action.
Perform concrete testing, including slump tests, unit weights, air content, and cylinder strength tests (release and 28-day).
Set up and monitor steam curing temperatures to ensure proper curing conditions.
Oversee finishing procedures in the finishing shed.
Conduct final product inspections, tagging conforming products and documenting nonconforming products for engineering review.
Verify that repairs on red-tagged items meet engineering specifications before approval.
Document all non-conformance issues and submit reports to the Engineering Department.

High school diploma or GED required.
Experience in quality control, concrete testing, or precast concrete manufacturing preferred.
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with PCI standards and concrete testing procedures.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in an industrial setting with exposure to heavy materials and equipment.
