Maschmeyer Concrete is currently seeking a Concrete Plant Manager to join our team at our Ready-Mix Plant located in the Tampa Bay area.

The Concrete Plant Manager is responsible for leading a team, coordinating production schedules, managing inventory, and optimizing plant performance. The role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in batching ready-mix concrete, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Concrete Plant Manager Required Education, Licenses, and Skills:

• Proven experience in the Ready-Mix industry, preferably in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of concrete batching processes, plant equipment, and quality control standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and experience in maintaining a safe working environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Intermediate computer skills; including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid Driver License with driving record that meets company standards.

Concrete Plant Manager Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate, and supervise plant team members: Loader Operator, Delivery Professionals, etc.
• Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and a commitment to safety and quality.
• Efficiently and accurately batch concrete while optimizing plant efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor and adjust production processes to maintain optimal output levels and minimize downtime.
• Oversee maintenance activities to ensure all plant equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
• Adhere to preventive maintenance schedules to minimize pant downtime and maximize productivity.
• Conduct regular inspections of raw materials and additives to ensure production of high-quality concrete that meets customer specifications.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

Qualifications

1. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
   1. Education: High school diploma, 4-year degree preferred
   2. Experience: Preferred, but not required. On the job training for those who meet the SBO
   3. Technical Skills: ACI Level 1 Certification, FDOT Batch Plant Certification, NRMCA Plant Manager Certification
   4. Non-Technical Skills: Intellectual curiosity, openness to learning, disciplined, efficient, multi-tasker
   5. Communication Skills: Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills
   6. Physical Requirements: Must pass fit for duty test

   9. Hours of Work: 50-70 hours per week, Monday Saturday. Some Sundays and available 24/7
