Computing Architect 3, Boeing Digital Solutions, Inc. (d/b/a Jeppesen), Englewood, CO:
Define requirements to design and verify routine architecture, data, and information management systems and components. Prepare initial design constraints and ensure architecture conform to requirements. Incorporate architecture functions into software development lifecycle. Develop and maintain architecture views and models. Perform initial assessments of feasibility of architecture solutions and alternatives. Perform initial assessment of product suitability for integration into delivery system environments. Draft data and information management products and service standards. Assist with assessment of impact of architectural decisions to product lifecycle.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:
Cloud Architecture or DevOps Engineering;
Scripting with Bash, PowerShell, or JavaScript;
Working with Azure Cloud architecture in the deployment of software as a service (SAAS) into a cloud environment;
Utilizing GitLab toolset to build, track, and deploy software to Azure cloud architecture;
Deploying CI/CD in automating build and deployment processes as well as in the execution of testing frameworks;
Troubleshooting base networking, server, storage, database, and security services based on implemented architectures and cloud managed services; and
Technical code review.
Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
