Who You Are
You are an experienced manufacturing professional with prior compounding, batching, or chemical blending experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You have a strong understanding of batching processes, raw material handling, equipment operation, and GMP standards. You are detail-oriented, safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable troubleshooting production issues while supporting both the production team and less experienced employees.
What You’ll Do
- Independently prepare, mix, and blend product batches following SOPs and batch instructions
- Accurately weigh and measure raw materials
- Operate kettles, mixers, homogenizers, transfer pumps, and related compounding equipment
- Troubleshoot minor batching, mixing, or equipment issues
- Complete batch records, production logs, and ERP/MRP system entries accurately
- Support pre-weighing and material verification activities
- Transfer completed batches to filling lines according to company procedures
- Collect and deliver product samples for quality testing
- Clean and sanitize tanks, hoses, utensils, and compounding equipment
- Assist production teams as needed to maintain workflow and schedules
- Support and provide guidance to less experienced compounders
- Follow all GMP, safety, PPE, and sanitation requirements
What You’ll Bring
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of prior compounding experience in manufacturing
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with chemical blending, batching, mixing, or formulation processes
- Strong understanding of raw materials, production processes, and formulation principles
- Ability to accurately follow detailed instructions and batch documentatio
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and computer-based documentation
Additional Skills & Abilities
- Strong math and measurement skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Forklift experience is a plus (training provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when needed
