Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Composite Technicians for a leading manufacturer in Valdosta, GA. You will play a key role in producing precision-built parts that meet strict quality, safety, and engineering standards. This is a hands-on manufacturing position where attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong commitment to quality are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Safety & Worksite Standards

• Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times
• Properly use PPE, tools, and material handling equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Safely handle and store components and finished parts to prevent damage

Composite Manufacturing / Infusion

• Perform mold preparation using multi-step chemical processes with precision
• Pattern, cut, and prep fiberglass materials for production
• Load, bag, and complete fiberglass infusion processes
• Prepare and mix resins and hardeners according to specifications
• Learn and apply RTM Lite and other advanced composite processes over time
• Use hand tools and fixtures (rollers, torque drivers, etc.) safely and effectively

Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Conduct in-process inspections to identify defects or deviations
• Complete ISPC (In-Station Process Control) documentation accurately
• Report quality concerns, equipment issues, or process deviations
• Participate in new product launches and process improvement initiatives
• Contribute ideas during team meetings to improve efficiency and quality

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1–3 years of manufacturing, assembly, lamination, or similar production experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents or diagrams
• Basic experience with hand tools in a manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and in a team-based production environment
• Strong communication skills and reliability

**Location: **Valdosta, GA

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7AM - 4PM

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout large production facilities for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs regularly
• Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed
• Work may involve exposure to noise, dust, temperature changes, and industrial environments
