What is my role type?

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

Position Overview:

As an Associate Director, Compliance Counsel, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal support to P&W’s Ethics & Compliance (E&C) program, including Antitrust and Competition Law compliance, Conflict Minerals compliance, and Communications. The position reports to a Director, Senior Counsel, Compliance. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience with Antitrust law, including compliance, litigation, and/or mergers and acquisitions.

Overall Responsibilities Include:

  • Support P&W’s Antitrust compliance program by:
  • Providing advice and counsel on antitrust and competition laws, regulations, policies, and procedures to internal clients
  • Support and help execute Company policy for Antitrust Compliance
  • Conducting and/or supporting investigations involving allegations of violations of antitrust law or policy
  • Assisting in development of P&W’s annual antitrust training plans and conducting antitrust trainings across the Company
  • Serve as P&W’s point of contact for Trade Shows / Trade Associations, including review of participation in Trade Associations and providing related training
  • Support P&W and RTX’s Conflict Minerals Compliance Program and disclosure process, including support of P&W Supply Chain lead for program
  • Support P&W’s Communications group, as appropriate, including review of materials for external release
  • Continually enhance and improve P&Ws’ ethics and “Speak Up” culture
  • Maintain a heightened awareness of the RTX Code of Ethics, acting with integrity at all times

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years’ experience
  • JD degree w/2 + years’ experience in antitrust law, including compliance, litigation, and/or mergers and acquisitions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ethics and/or compliance experience preferred
  • Requires strong presentation and project management experience
  • Approachable and discreet
  • Knowledgeable of the organization's values and principles
  • Objective, fair and sound judgment
  • Honest, direct and straightforward in communications
  • Positioned to make independent judgments with strong decision-making skills
  • Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
