Job Overview:

OVERVIEW

Express is seeking a** Community Manager** to lead the day-to-day operations of a manufactured housing community. This position is responsible for resident satisfaction, property performance, and financial results while ensuring the community remains safe, clean, and well-maintained. The Community Manager works closely with the District Manager, on-site team, vendors, contractors, and corporate support teams to achieve property goals and provide an excellent resident experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Resident Relations: Provide excellent service, address concerns, support retention, and coordinate community events.
  • Rent Collection: Manage rent payments, delinquencies, deposits, and evictions while maintaining accurate records.
  • Marketing & Leasing: Monitor the market, promote the community, process applications, and manage leases and renewals.
  • Expense Management: Manage expenses within budget, verify work, and approve invoices.
  • Property Appearance: Inspect the community and ensure homes, grounds, amenities, and common areas are clean and well-maintained.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff while promoting safety and professionalism.
  • Reporting & Records: Maintain accurate financial, resident, maintenance, vendor, and property records and reports.
  • Capital Projects: Identify improvement needs, obtain bids, and coordinate major repairs and projects.
  • Compliance: Enforce community rules and policies while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years of experience in property management, community management, real estate, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership, customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with leasing, rent collection, budgeting, and property operations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems, and work independently.
  • Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of housing regulations and compliance preferred.
  • Reliable, professional, and team-oriented.
