Job Overview:

As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications. Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Write internal content including, but not limited to, company updates, employee spotlights, project summaries, etc.
  • Drive awareness of SNC and engagement with compelling social media content across platforms, including creating graphics and video geared specifically for social media
  • Support internal communications needs for various internal customers (e.g. HR, IT, etc.)
  • Manage the company Intranet Home
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance internal communications using available and approved digital platforms
  • Work with internal stakeholders and leaders across the company to support corporate objectives with appropriate communications strategies

Must-haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field. Relevant work experience may substitute for required education
  • 1-2 years previous experience in a communications/journalism related field
  • Must be an excellent storyteller
  • Strong writing & computer skills are a must
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized, creative, articulate and have excellent people skills
  • The role will require working with multiple teams across the enterprise and the candidate must be able to pivot to different personality types
  • Capable of working well as part of a team, as well as independently
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours & travel when necessary
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations or related field
  • SharePoint experience highly preferred
  • Photo and video editing experience
  • Event planning experience
  • A definite plus if comfortable on camera
