Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, and ice machines.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and inspections on refrigeration equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding service needs and recommendations.
• Keep accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in refrigeration technology.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on refrigeration systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in refrigeration or HVAC preferred.
• Proven experience as a refrigeration technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and components.
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• EPA certification for refrigerant handling is a plus.
