Maxwell Plumb Mechanical Group is hiring experienced Commercial Plumbing Service Technicians who can independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair plumbing systems throughout New York City.

This is an opportunity for a skilled plumber who knows the trade, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to be trusted to handle jobs without constant supervision.

We are a family-owned plumbing and mechanical contractor that has served New York City since 1989. Based in Bayside, Queens, our established team provides plumbing, heating, and mechanical services to commercial buildings and facilities across the five boroughs.

What You'll Be Doing

• Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial plumbing systems.

• Identify and repair leaks, drainage problems, clogs, water pressure issues, and pipe failures.

• Service and repair water supply, drainage, sanitary, and other plumbing systems.

• Repair and replace plumbing fixtures, valves, piping, and associated equipment.

• Perform smaller installations and replacements as needed.

• Determine the appropriate repair method, materials, and parts required to complete each job.

• Communicate professionally with building managers, property managers, and customers.

• Explain identified problems, recommended repairs, and additional work when appropriate.

• Complete electronic work orders and document work performed.

• Maintain a professional, organized, and safe work environment.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional plumbing experience preferred, ideally including commercial service work.

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across a variety of plumbing systems.

• Ability to work independently, from initial diagnosis through completed repair.

• Experience handling daily service calls without constant supervision.

• Solid understanding of plumbing repair techniques, materials, and equipment.

• Familiarity with NYC plumbing codes and commercial building systems.

• Good communication skills and a professional approach to customer service.

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

• OSHA 30 and F-60/G-60 certifications preferred, or willingness to obtain them.

• Journeyman or Master Plumber credentials are a plus, but not required.
