Maxwell Plumb Mechanical Group is looking for an experienced Commercial Plumbing Mechanic with strong installation, service, and troubleshooting skills to join our team.

We're looking for a well-rounded plumbing professional who can handle everything from commercial piping installations and rough-ins to troubleshooting, repairs, and finish plumbing.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform commercial and residential plumbing installations, repairs, and service work throughout NYC.

• Handle rough-in and finish plumbing, including installation and replacement of fixtures, valves, and piping.

• Install, repair, and modify domestic water, gas, sanitary, and storm piping systems.

• Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and plumbing plans.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing problems, including leaks, drainage issues, pressure problems, and piping failures.

• Complete plumbing alterations, renovations, and installations in accordance with NYC plumbing codes.

• Determine the materials, tools, and repairs necessary to complete assigned jobs.

• Work independently, taking responsibility for jobs from start to finish.

• Coordinate professionally with building managers, customers, and other trades when necessary.

• Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and professionalism.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of plumbing experience preferred, ideally working throughout New York City.

• Experience with both commercial and residential plumbing systems.

• Strong background in both installation/construction and service/repair work.

• Hands-on experience with rough-ins, finish plumbing, fixtures, and water, gas, sanitary, and storm piping.

• Ability to read blueprints and understand NYC plumbing codes.

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.

• Ability to work independently without constant supervision.

• Experience managing jobs and completing work from start to finish.

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

• OSHA 30 and F-60/G-60 certifications preferred, or willingness to obtain them.

• Journeyman or Master Plumber credentials are a plus, but not required.
