Position Summary

Masaba's Contract Manufacturing business has grown quickly and is becoming a larger and more important part of our business. As we continue adding customers, expanding the type of work we take on, and increasing the number of orders moving through our operation, we need someone who is focused on making sure the business stays organized and that we consistently deliver on the commitments we make to our customers.

The Commercial Operations Lead – Contract Manufacturing will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and commercial execution of Masaba's Contract Manufacturing business. This position will work closely with Business Development, Inside Sales, Estimating, Production Control, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and other areas of the company to make sure awarded business moves successfully from customer PO through production, shipment and invoicing.

This is not a Production Manager position. The role does not directly own the manufacturing operation or production schedule. Instead, this person needs to understand what is happening throughout the entire process, identify where something is not moving as expected, bring the right people together to address it, and make sure we are staying ahead of customer commitments rather than reacting after we miss them.

The right person for this position needs to understand both the commercial and operational sides of the business. They need to be comfortable working in our ERP system, understand manufacturing processes and capacity, communicate effectively with customers and employees, understand the financial impact of the decisions we make, and, most importantly, be someone who stays on top of the details.
