Position Overview

We are seeking a commercial Journeyman Electrician. This position focuses on multiple, high-density commercial fitouts within a healthcare facility. You will be responsible for running conduit, wiring specialized medical areas, and ensuring all systems comply with commercial and healthcare electrical codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute Fitouts: Read blueprints to execute electrical layouts for diverse medical spaces and offices.
• Install Conduit: Bend and run EMT, IMC, and rigid conduit efficiently throughout the facility.
• Pull Wire: Feeder and branch circuit wiring for heavy commercial power distribution systems.
• Connect Equipment: Wire specialized medical equipment, lighting controls, and backup power systems.
• Ensure Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to NEC standards and specific healthcare facility codes.
• Maintain Safety: Follow OSHA regulations and hospital-specific safety protocols daily.

Required Qualifications

• commercial electrician experience
• Experience: Minimum 4-5 years of commercial electrical experience.
• Project History: Proven experience working on large-scale commercial fitouts or tenant improvements.
• Skills: Expert proficiency in blueprint reading, circuit troubleshooting, and conduit bending.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stand for long shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working inside hospitals, clinics, or medical office buildings.
• Familiarity with healthcare-specific wiring methods (e.g., MC-AP cable, isolated ground circuits).
