Commercial HVAC Tech — DOAS / Chiller / RTU

Pensacola, FL Area | $25–$40/hr | Travel Pay Door-to-Door

Dispatched from home — clock starts when you pull out of the driveway. Established commercial mechanical contractor (Plant City–based, expanding our Pensacola footprint) is hiring an experienced commercial HVAC tech to run service calls across the Pensacola metro. No office to drive into — you're dispatched straight from home, and you're on the clock from the minute you leave the house to the minute you pull back in. The book of business is heavy on DOAS, AAON DOAS, RTUs, chillers, and cooling towers. Strong refrigeration guys with solid HVAC fundamentals will get trained up — bring the basics and we'll round out the rest.

What you'll actually do day-to-day

• Service and troubleshoot commercial HVAC systems across the Pensacola area — DOAS units, RTUs, split systems, and packaged equipment
• Diagnose and repair AAON DOAS and other dedicated outside air systems
• Work on chillers (water-cooled, air-cooled) and cooling towers
• Run preventive maintenance on refrigeration loops, pumps, and supporting equipment
• Read prints and equipment schematics, document service tickets cleanly
• Communicate with property managers and building engineers on-site
• Handle warranty calls, callbacks, and emergency service rotations as needed

What you bring

• 3+ years commercial HVAC service experience — OR strong commercial refrigeration background with HVAC fundamentals (we'll train the gaps)
• EPA Universal certification (required)
• DOAS, RTU, chiller, or cooling tower experience is a big plus
• Clean driving record
• Comfortable working solo on service calls and reading equipment schematics
• Self-motivated — can troubleshoot commercial systems without hand-holding
