Job Description

Our client is a well-established and growing commercial mechanical contractor serving Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, and the surrounding Gulf Coast region. They are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Professional to join their team and support a diverse portfolio of about 75% of commercial clients and 25% residential. They do a lot of new ground up commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems.

• Perform preventative maintenance on rooftop units, chillers, split systems, air handlers, package units, and related equipment.

• Inspect equipment and identify potential issues before failures occur.

• Perform start-ups, testing, balancing, and commissioning activities.

• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

• Communicate effectively with customers regarding system performance, repairs, and recommendations.

• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company safety standards and local building codes.

• Collaborate with project managers, service coordinators, and fellow technicians to deliver exceptional customer service.Qualifications

  • 4+ years of commercial HVAC experience preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience servicing commercial HVAC equipment including RTUs, chillers, boilers, VAV systems, and controls.
  • Familiarity with HVAC controls and building automation systems is a plus.
  • Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.

  Preferred Experience

  • Commercial service and maintenance experience.
  • Experience with Trane, Carrier, York, Daikin, Lennox, or similar commercial equipment.
