About the Role
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to provide expert maintenance and repair services for a variety of commercial and industrial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, hands‑on experience with heating and cooling systems, and the ability to interpret schematics and design plans. Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems is a plus.
This role involves field service work across diverse commercial and industrial settings, ensuring optimal operation of air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and other mechanical equipment. A valid driver’s license is required for travel between job sites.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repair of HVAC systems and related mechanical equipment
Diagnose issues using schematics, design plans, and diagnostic tools (ohmmeters, refrigeration testing equipment, etc.)
Troubleshoot electrical components and mechanical systems to identify faults and implement solutions
Maintain detailed service records and ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes
Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems
Operate tools and machinery including power tools, diagnostic instruments, and hand tools
Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and organized
Qualifications
Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC/R or related fields (construction, property maintenance, appliance repair)
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands‑on experience in heating/air conditioning systems and equipment repair
Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and field service procedures
Experience with plumbing, electrical, and ammonia refrigeration systems a plus
Prior welding or boiler maintenance experience a plus
Ability to operate HVAC diagnostic tools effectively
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
