Are you an experienced Commercial HVAC/R professional who's ready for more than just another service management position?

We're partnering with an established, growing mechanical service company that's expanding into Austin, TX, and looking for a strong, hands-on leader to help launch and grow its new operation.

This isn't your typical management role. You'll have the opportunity to combine your technical expertise, leadership skills, and customer relationships to build a successful operation from the ground up, with the support and resources of an established company behind you.

The Opportunity

You'll initially lead a small team of commercial HVAC/R technicians while staying actively involved in advanced troubleshooting, service operations, and customer relationships.

As the Austin market grows, you'll help build the team, expand customer relationships, and take on greater operational and leadership responsibilities.

What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and develop commercial HVAC/R service technicians.

• Provide hands-on technical leadership and troubleshoot complex commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.

• Oversee service, preventative maintenance, repairs, and equipment replacements.

• Build strong relationships with commercial customers, facility managers, and property operators.

• Identify new business opportunities and help grow the Austin customer base.

• Help recruit and develop additional technicians as the operation expands.

• Oversee service quality, technician productivity, and day-to-day operations.

• Work closely with company leadership to establish and grow a successful local operation.

What We're Looking For

• 8–10+ years of commercial HVAC/R field experience preferred.

• Strong troubleshooting experience with commercial rooftop units, refrigeration, electrical controls, and mechanical systems.

• Experience leading, supervising, or mentoring HVAC/R technicians.

• Strong customer relationship and communication skills.

• Understanding of commercial HVAC/R service operations and profitability.

• EPA Section 608 certification.

• Ability to meet applicable Texas licensing requirements.

• An entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to help build and grow a business.

Experience with larger commercial systems, supermarket refrigeration, rack systems, or industrial HVAC/R is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
