Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial HVAC Insulator to join our team in Houston, TX. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficiency and performance of HVAC systems by applying insulation materials to pipes, ducts, and equipment. Responsibilities

• Install insulation on HVAC piping, ductwork, and equipment to improve energy efficiency.
• Measure and cut insulation materials to fit various shapes and sizes.
• Ensure all insulation is applied according to industry standards and safety regulations.
• Inspect and maintain existing insulation to identify areas needing repair or replacement.
• Collaborate with HVAC technicians and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Document work completed and report any issues or concerns to management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
• Proven experience as an HVAC insulator or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of insulation materials and their applications.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in the HVAC industry.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed.

This is a field role: the work happens at customer and job sites rather than at a single worksite, and you will be based within driving distance of the job location. Expect day trips to job sites, with most nights at home.
