Beacon Mechanical Services is hiring experienced
Commercial Handyman / Facilities Maintenance Technicians
to support our growing commercial facilities operations.
We are looking for well-rounded technicians who are comfortable evaluating commercial facility issues, identifying the likely cause, and determining the appropriate next steps. Technicians will work from customer work orders and available scope information, with support from Beacon's operations team when additional coordination or resources are needed.
Many service calls can be diagnosed and completed during the initial visit. Others may require additional materials, equipment, specialized trades, or follow-up work. A key part of this role is recognizing what can be completed safely and effectively in the field and clearly documenting what is needed when additional support is required.
Technicians should be comfortable working independently in the field while remaining connected to Beacon's operations team. Strong troubleshooting skills, good judgment, clear communication, and professional interaction with customers and facility managers are important parts of the position.
