Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Commercial Driver with a valid TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) card. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight and materials to and from secure facilities, including ports and industrial sites, while ensuring compliance with all DOT regulations, company policies, and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations, including port and secure facility access points
• Maintain a valid TWIC card and comply with all port security requirements and procedures
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and operational readiness
• Secure loads properly to prevent damage during transport
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and hours of service in accordance with DOT regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site personnel
• Follow all traffic laws, safety standards, and company driving policies
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or safety concerns immediately

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL (Class A or B depending on role requirements)
• Current TWIC card in good standing (required)
• Clean driving record preferred
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Experience operating commercial vehicles in port, warehouse, or industrial environments preferred
• Strong commitment to safety and reliability
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Work Environment:

Work may include driving in and out of ports, warehouses, distribution centers, and industrial job sites. Must be comfortable following strict security and compliance protocols.
