Commercial Construction Estimator

Location: Sheboygan, WI

Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

Pay: Competitive, based on experience, $50,000-$100,000

Are you an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator looking to join a growing, respected construction team? We are seeking a detail-oriented professional who can accurately estimate commercial construction projects from concept through completion. Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Review blueprints, specifications, and bid documents.
• Complete quantity takeoffs and material pricing.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids.
• Develop hard bid, design-build, and conceptual estimates.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure a smooth handoff after award.
• Maintain organized estimating files and documentation.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
• Help identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systems.
• Experience performing quantity takeoffs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Procore is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Construction management or estimating experience preferred.
