Job Description

Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a commercial audiovisual integration organization, is seeking a skilled Project Manager – Commercial AV. This role is responsible for owning commercial AV projects from kickoff through completion, coordinating installation and procurement activities, and managing clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Duties:

• Own commercial AV integration projects from post-sale kickoff through final completion
• Lead project kickoff meetings and coordinate activities across engineering, purchasing, installation, sales, and project support teams
• Manage 20–30 active projects across varying phases while maintaining schedules, deliverables, and project documentation
• Coordinate equipment procurement, deliveries, installation schedules, and subcontractor activities
• Partner with installation management to plan labor requirements and align field resources with project schedules
• Interface directly with clients, subcontractors, engineers, and other construction trades throughout project execution
• Conduct regular job-site visits to monitor installation progress, verify project status, and address field requirements
• Track project details, dependencies, schedule changes, and outstanding action items through completion

Skills & Experience:

• Professional project management experience within the commercial audiovisual integration industry
• Working knowledge of commercial AV systems, installation processes, and integration workflows
• Experience coordinating AV installations alongside general contractors and other construction trades
• Experience managing multiple concurrent commercial AV projects through the complete project lifecycle
• Experience coordinating equipment procurement, installation schedules, subcontractors, and project deliverables
• Experience managing project schedules, documentation, dependencies, and milestones
• Working knowledge of commercial construction and job-site process

Desired

• Previous hands-on experience as a commercial AV Installation Technician or similar field-based AV role
• Experience managing a portfolio of 20–30 active projects simultaneously
• Experience with AV system drawings, equipment specifications, scopes of work, and project documentation
• Experience coordinating field labor and installation resources
• Experience supporting commercial AV projects through onsite job-site visits
• Industry-recognized audiovisual or project management certifications
