Combi Forklift Operator – Demham Springs
Full Time – Evaluation Hire
$20/hr PLUS OVERTIME
Monday – Thursday, 6 am - 4:30 pm; Fridays and Saturdays when needed
Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring for a Combi Forklift operatorfor a local client in Denham Springs, Louisiana.
This position is responsible for operating a Kombi forklift to safely move, load, unload, and position heavy or oversized materials throughout the facility, including staging and shipping areas, and fabrication machines.
**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for Combi Forklift Operator: **
- - Operate Combi forklifts safely and efficiently in industrial and outdoor environments
- Load, unload, and transport steel and industrial materials
- Position materials accurately for coating, curing, storage, or shipment
- Secure loads and ensure stability during lifting and transport operations
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report mechanical or safety issues
- Follow all OSHA, company safety, and site-specific procedures
- Assist with yard organization, inventory movement, and housekeeping as needed
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, crane operators, and ground personnel
- Support production and shipping schedules to meet operational deadlines
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification through company training
Past Experience using a Combi lift is highly preferred.
Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, or fabrication environments preferred
Strong understanding of load capacities, boom angles, and safe lifting practices
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Capable of lifting and maneuvering heavy materials safely
