POSITION SUMMARY:

Part-time

Job duties include mixing colors for multiple designs of soft plastic baits. Color-Tech manages inbound work orders by SKU and stays ahead of production schedule and raw materials requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for color related materials and inventory.
• Reports formula inventory to Production Manager on a regular basis.
• Adheres to recipe guidelines.
• Must be proficient in units of measurement and simple mathematics.
• Long periods of time on the plant floor in a fast-paced environment.
• Keeps work area clean and safe.
• Keeps all mixing and tools clean and in good condition.
• Forklift certified – certification provided by employer.
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Degree Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

• Ability to use hand tools.
• Ability to work in team setting or independently.
• Ability to understand processes and instructions.
• Ability to read and follow standard operational processes.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Light lifting, under 20 lbs.

• Moderate lifting, 21-59 lbs
• Moderate carrying, 21 – 59 lbs

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:

Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.
