Job Title: Cold Header Operator

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Cold Header Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Birmingham, AL. This is a great opportunity for a skilled operator looking for stability, competitive pay, and a supportive team environment — relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

What You'll Do:

Set up and operate cold header machines to produce precision fasteners and components

Install and adjust tooling, dies, and punches according to specifications

Read blueprints and technical specifications to ensure part conformance

Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges

Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform routine preventive maintenance

Maintain accurate production documentation

Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

What We're Looking For:

Prior experience operating and/or setting up cold header machines (Sacma, National Machinery, Hatebur, Nakashima, or similar preferred)

Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Willingness to relocate to the Birmingham, AL area
