**Cold Forming Header Operator – 2nd Shift

** Monday–Friday, with possible Saturdays based on need

**Position Summary

**

We are looking for a

**hands-on, dependable problem solver

** to operate and set up cold forming/header machines. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, getting dirty, figuring out problems, and learning new skills.

You do not need to know everything on day one.

**Training will be provided

**, with the expectation that you will learn to eventually set up and operate the machines independently.

**Responsibilities

**

• Set up and operate

  **cold forming/header machines

  ** with training.

• Learn to perform machine setups independently.

• Load and feed material and adjust machine settings and tooling.

• Monitor machines and troubleshoot issues during production.

• Make adjustments to keep machines running properly and parts within specifications.

• Perform basic quality inspections using

  **calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools

  **.

• Read and understand

  **part prints, tool layouts, and progression sheets

  **.

• Document quality measurements and production information.

• Assist with tooling changes, repairs, and maintenance.

• Use forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment as needed.

• Keep the work area safe, clean, and organized.
