Raytheon’s CODEX business within Cybersecurity, Training, and Services (CTS) is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer to support focused growth areas within our existing Intelligence Community customers in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.
The Technical Solutions Engineer will be responsible for working with Technology Centers and Business Development to identify solutions to customer problems that are technically sound, and align with the customer’s planned direction.
The Technical Solutions Engineer in conjunction with Business Development will establish Raytheon credibility in key technology areas including SIGINT collection, processing and analysis, Computer Network Operations, Computer Network Defense and Analysis/Analytics. This includes meeting with and providing technical briefings to the customer’s technical representatives and key strategic partners, generating white papers on key technologies and working with pursuit teams to ensure that customer requirements are well understood and result in superior technical proposals.
Successful candidates must have existing relationships and recognized credibility within the Intelligence Community and be recognized thought leaders in their area of expertise.
Minimum of 12 years of technical experience in systems engineering/development for intelligence related programs, with experience in computer network operations (CNO), defensive cyber, SIGINT, or analysis/analytics.
Requirements Analysis, Design, Development, Integration, and Testing experience. Proven ability to analyze customer requirements and develop differentiating technical solutions to capture new opportunities or expand growth on existing contracts.
Ability to analyze and predict potential customer problems and design/develop prototype solutions or define internal research and development (IRaD) projects to position for opportunities or on contract growth.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Required Education (including Major): BS in Engineering or related technical field.
Qualified applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required.
Experience in a strategic role on a multi-year intelligence project or program (e.g., Systems Architect, Lead Systems Engineer).
Experience and understanding of the end-to-end Cyber or SIGINT missions from sensor to analyst.
Experience with the capture process and proposal development including leading the development of technical solutions and the technical volume in response to a request for proposal (RFP).
Background in one or more of these missions: CNO, cyber defense, SIGINT collection and processing, analysis/analytics.
