Cobot Operator / Robotic Assembly Operator
We're looking for reliable, hands-on people to operate collaborative robots, or "cobots," in our new shop. Cobots are easy-to-use tools that work alongside people to complete assembly and production tasks. No robotics, coding, or programming experience is required. We'll provide the training.
This is a great fit for someone with experience in assembly, construction, general labor, manufacturing, or other hands-on work. People who are comfortable with gaming controllers, screens, or learning new technology may also pick up the work quickly.
What You'll Do
Operate cobots and related production equipment
Load and unload parts and materials
Start and monitor production cycles
Complete basic assembly and quality checks
Identify problems and notify the appropriate team member
Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
Follow standard work instructions and meet production goals
What We're Looking For
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Comfort working with your hands and learning new tools
Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
Basic computer or touchscreen skills
Attention to detail and quality
Assembly, construction, manufacturing, or general labor experience is helpful but not required
No robot programming experience required
Schedule
First shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Second shift: Four 10-hour days per week, with a 20% shift premium.
Pay: $17.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience.
