Machinist

(1) 1st Shift | Mon–Thu | 5am - 3:30pm

(2) 2nd Shift | Mon–Thu | 3:15 PM – 1:45 AM

What You’ll Do

As a Machinist, you’ll apply your technical expertise to machine complex parts while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

· Set up and operate CNC lathes, CNC mills, manual lathes, and manual mills

· Machine parts to print using both metric and inch drawings

· Hold and inspect tight tolerances—sometimes less than 0.001 inch

· Produce simple to complex components using a variety of machining equipment

· Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, and optical comparators

· Read and interpret detailed blueprints, including GD&T

· Devise creative and unconventional part-holding methods when needed

· Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, and productivity

· Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking an experienced, dependable machinist who takes pride in precision work and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

· Have 5+ years of experience in the machining trade

· Can independently set up and operate CNC and manual machines

· Are skilled in producing both simple and complex parts to print

· Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and strong work ethic

· Are comfortable working with tight tolerances and high-quality standards

· Work effectively within a team environment

· Are dependable and maintain an excellent attendance record

Desired Skills & Experience

· CNC programming experience

· Prior forklift operation

Education

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· Vocational or trade school training is a plus
