About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality precision parts. You will work with a variety of materials, including metals and plastics, and use your expertise to ensure that all parts meet our strict quality standards. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be critical to your success in this role. You will report to the Production Manager and work closely with other members of the production team to ensure that all orders are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience operating CNC machines
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CAD/CAM software
  • Experience with a variety of materials, including metals and plastics
  • Experience with quality control processes
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles
  • Associate's degree in a related field

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Collaborate with other members of the production team to ensure orders are completed on time and to the highest quality standards

Skills:

As a CNC Machine Operator, you will use your technical expertise to set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts. You will need to be able to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints, and have a strong attention to detail to ensure that all parts meet our strict quality standards. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with other members of the production team to ensure that all orders are completed on time and to the highest quality standards. Experience with CAD/CAM software and a variety of materials, including metals and plastics, is preferred.
