We are seeking a skilled wire EDM machinist that can perform all set-up and operational functions of wire EDM machines required to fabricate medical instruments and implants.
**Shifts Available:
**
1st: Mon - Thurs (6:00am - 4:30p)
2nd: Mon- Thurs (4:30pm - 6:00am -or- 7:30pm - 6:00am)
15% shift premium for ALL 2nd shift hours worked!
What You’ll Do:
- Operate and maintain wire EDM machines, finish machines, hand tools, and fixtures.
- Program EDM machines, verify and test programs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, inspection check-sheets and instructions.
- Use basic inspection tools, such as calipers, micrometers, height stands, comparators, etc.
- Burr removal on all parts where required.
- Make machine adjustments, tool changes, etc. as required.
- Interface with Epicor Labor Entry system and monitor work orders.
What You’ll Need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years wire EDM machine experience.
