Job Description

seeking a CNC Vertical Operator to machine large-scale metallic components using heavy vertical mills. The role emphasizes precision, GD&T, and strict adherence to AS9100 quality standards.

You will read aerospace blueprints, set up machines, load parts over 500 lbs, and inspect finished work. This full-time, night/overnight shift job offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience operating CNC machines in aerospace, defense, or heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Experience machining large-format vertical mills and heavy components >500 lbs.
• Ability to read aerospace blueprints and GD&T callouts.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Review shop orders and interpret drawings to set up machining work.
• Operate CNC vertical machining centers to mill, drill, face and bore components.
• Load and secure parts using overhead cranes and fixtures.
• Ensure adherence to AS9100 quality management system standards.
