PrideStaff is seeking a hands-on, mechanically and electrically inclined CNC Technical Support Specialist for a premier industrial machinery manufacturer in Bend.
Please note: This is an industrial machinery technical support role—not an IT, network administration, or desktop support position.
In this role, you will provide remote diagnostics, troubleshooting, and support for heavy CNC cutting machinery, motion-control systems, and plasma cutting equipment. Assist customers via phone, email, and remote tools to diagnose mechanical, electrical, software, and motion-control issues.
Walk customers through component isolation, system testing, and electrical diagnostics using digital multimeters, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Diagnose issues involving motors, drives, relays, sensors, power supplies, gearboxes, gantry assemblies, and torch alignment.
Assist with machine startup, calibration, preventive maintenance, and basic CAD/CAM or controller software troubleshooting.
Document technical resolutions within CRM systems and coordinate replacement parts and warranty claims.

Strong background in electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting. Experience with hand tools and digital multimeters is required.
Understanding of basic control circuits, switches, relays, motors, fuses, and wiring. Ability to read (or learn to read) electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Ability to clearly explain complex technical procedures to customers with varying levels of mechanical experience.
Ideal candidate backgrounds include industrial maintenance, automotive/diesel/heavy equipment repair, mechatronics, welding/fabrication equipment, or military electrical/mechanical occupations.
Ability to train in-house with the potential to travel (50–75%) for field service, installations, and repairs once fully trained.
You should be proficient in:
