The role of a CNC Swiss Setup Machinist involves several key responsibilities, requiring strong hands-on machining experience and the ability to independently set up and operate Swiss-type lathes. The Machinist must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings to understand the geometric requirements and tolerances of the parts being produced. This role is responsible for setting up machines for production, performing first article inspections, and maintaining efficient, high-quality output.
The Setup Machinist will ensure machines are properly tooled, offsets are adjusted as needed, and parts are produced within specification. This individual plays a critical role in keeping production running smoothly, delivering consistent, low-error, on-time results to the customer.
At Acero Precision, we create life-changing medical components. Our team is the heartbeat of innovation, producing precision parts that save lives. If you thrive on precision, problem-solving, and high-level CNC operations, this is the opportunity for you.
