Our dynamic locaiton in Bloomington, MN, as a CNC Swiss Programmer! We are looking for a skilled professional who is passionate about precision machining and thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys working in the office and on the floor assisting co-workers. Responsibilities

• Programming & Optimization: Develop, edit, and optimize multi-axis G-code/M-code programs using Gibbs software to maximize cycle times and minimize scrap.

• Machine Setups: Perform complete end-to-end setups on Swiss-type lathes, including bar-loader integration, tool selection/offsets, bushing/guide-bushing adjustments, and first-piece approval.

• Quality Assurance: Execute in-process and final dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and CMM equipment to maintain sub-micron/tight tolerance specs (GD&T).

• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve machining errors, tool wear, chatter, or mechanical glitches on the fly; perform routine preventative maintenance.

• Collaboration & Documentation: Generate setup sheets, document process changes, and partner with quality, engineering, and shop operators to drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 8+ years of hands-on Swiss CNC programming experience in a precision manufacturing environment- Aerospace is a plus.

• Technical Mastery:

  • Advanced proficiency in CAM software and solid understanding of G-code/M-code.

  • Strong interpretation of complex engineering blueprints and GD&T.

• Machine Familiarity: Experience programming Swiss CNC Machines

• Problem-Solving: Proven track record of troubleshooting complex setups, selecting tooling/inserts for exotic or standard alloys (stainless, aluminum, titanium, alloy steels), and executing fast-paced floor support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in CNC Machining, CAD/CAM, or Manufacturing Engineering
