We are seeking a skilled CNC Swiss Machinist / Operator to join our dynamic team in Quakertown, PA. If you have a passion for precision machining and a knack for operating CNC lathes, we want to hear from you! In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Swiss lathes and other CNC machinery to produce high-quality components. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to excellence and innovation in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC Swiss lathes and CNC lathes (2-4 axis and 5+ axis) to produce precision parts.
  • Utilize G-Code and M-Code for programming and machine operation.
  • Perform machine setups for production runs, ensuring optimal efficiency and quality.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand specifications and requirements.
  • Employ shop math skills to calculate dimensions, tolerances, and other necessary measurements.
  • Utilize CAM software for programming and optimizing machining processes.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure reliable operation.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, specifically with CNC Swiss lathes and CNC lathes (2-4 axis and 5+ axis).
  • Strong knowledge of CNC tooling, G-Code, and M-Code.
  • Ability to perform machine setups for production runs effectively.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Solid shop math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with CAM software.
  • Experience with machine brands such as Nakamura, Star, Eurotech, and Tornos is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
