Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC Swiss machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
  • Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet required tolerances.
  • Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to optimize production efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
  • Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a CNC Swiss Machinist or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of CNC programming and operation.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • CNC Tooling
  • CNC Machine Installation
  • OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
  • CNC Machine Setup & Changeover
  • CAD/CAM Software
  • Blueprint Reading

  • CNC Lathe (2-4 axis)
  • CNC Swiss Lathe (Tsugami)
  • CAM Software
