We are seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Machinist to set up and operate Swiss-style CNC lathes producing high-precision medical device components.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC Swiss lathes.
- Install tooling, fixtures, and machine accessories.
- Adjust offsets and make program/G-code edits.
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings.
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring equipment.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and minimize scrap and downtime.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work area.
- Follow GMP, ISO 13485, and company quality procedures.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of CNC Swiss setup and operating experience.
- Strong knowledge of Swiss machining and G-code.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
- Medical device, aerospace, or regulated manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience with Star, Citizen, Tsugami, or Tornos machines is a plus.
