We’re a leading manufacturing company located Northeast of Columbia, MO, seeking skilled CNC Specialist to support machining operations by programming, setting up, troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving CNC equipment. The CNC Specialist plays a key role in maximizing machine performance, reducing downtime, improving tooling efficiency, and supporting production teams. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable programming CNC equipment, optimizing machining processes, performing preventative maintenance, and training operators. **Requirements:

**

-High school diploma or GED.

• 5+ years of CNC machining, setup, and programming experience.

• 5+ years of experience performing preventative maintenance on CNC machining equipment

-Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.

-Experience selecting tooling, calculating feeds and speeds, and optimizing machining processes.

-Experience using precision measuring equipment.

-Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

**Key Responsibilities:

**

-Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machining and assembly equipment.

-Complete preventative maintenance work orders and maintain accurate CMMS documentation.

-Evaluate machine condition and communicate equipment issues, repair recommendations, and production readiness.

-Set up CNC machines for production, including tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters.

-Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for production and new part launches.

-Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD models.

-Select tooling, establish feeds and speeds, and optimize machining processes.

-Inspect machined components using precision measuring equipment and make machine adjustments as needed.

-Maintain tooling documentation, machining records, and program backups.

-Monitor tool life and implement improvements to reduce tooling costs and scrap.

-Develop and maintain tooling inventories, tool databases, and machining standards.
