Job Overview:

Quality Machined Products and Manufacturing is seeking an experienced, high-caliber **CNC Shop Foreman

**

to oversee the daily operations of our machine shop. You will oversee daily production, optimize machining workflows, and manage a team of CNC machinists and operators. This role requires CNC lathe set-up experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a commitment to maintaining rigorous quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot Setup: Set-up CNC lathes & assist operators with complex setups, tool selection, and program edits.
  • Lead Production: Oversee daily shop activities to meet strict customer delivery deadlines. Manage, train, and mentor CNC machinists, programmers, and operators.
  • Manage Equipment: Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules for all CNC lathes.
  • Promote Safety and Organization: Adhere to OSHA regulations, proper PPE usage, and machine guarding protocols.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Journeyman machinist preferred
  • Machining environment or experience preferred, Particularly CNC lathe
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates
  • Experience with ESPIRIT programming software is a +
  • Proficient with ERP systems, preferably Job Boss is a +
