CNC Sheet Metal Programmer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Sheet Metal Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming, sheet metal fabrication, blueprint reading, and CAD/CAM software.

Key Responsibilities

• Program CNC machines to cut, bend, and shape sheet metal components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files.
• Set up and calibrate CNC machines for production runs.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programming and machine issues.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes.
• Maintain accurate production records and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of CNC programming or machining experience.
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of CNC programming languages, including G-code.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of quality control and manufacturing processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in CNC programming or a related field.
