Troubleshoot tooling, process concerns and chronic machine problems.
Edit CNC programs.
Test new products (tooling-carbide inserts and work holding).
Complete changeovers and repair maintenance activities (grinders/robots/broach/CNC).
Participate in problem solving.
Housekeeping of tool room area.
Cycle time reductions.
Participate in APQP/PPAP process and implementation of new processes.
Perform production set ups (chucks, collets, tool bars & read blueprints).
Reteach robots and assist Engineering in Automation of cells.
Assist with training for operators on machining & PM tasks (also New Hire Training if designated).
Follow Housekeeping, Safety & Environmental requirements (recycling, labeling, spills and programs).
Comply with all applicable requirements for the Quality and Environmental Systems.
Continuous improvement ideas in safety, productivity, quality, housekeeping-submit to supervisor or HR Box.

Experience in Manufacturing (CNCs, Grinders, Hob, Shapers, Broaches, Heat Treat)
CNC programming and Fanuc controls, Fanuc Robots
Technical math, tool geometry, GD&T, blueprint reading, mechanical abilities
Knowledge and use of tool room equipment
