CNC Setup Operator / Programmer (Mazak Lathe & Milling) – 3rd ShiftLocation: Painesville, OHPay: $28.00–$30.00/hour (based on experience) + $2.00/hour shift differentialOur client in Painesville is seeking an experienced CNC Setup Operator/Programmer for 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will have experience programming, setting up, and operating Mazak CNC lathes and milling machines while maintaining high quality and production standards.Responsibilities:Program, set up, and operate Mazak CNC lathes and milling machines.Edit and optimize CNC programs to improve efficiency and quality.Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.Select and install tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets.Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.Troubleshoot machining issues and make program or tooling adjustments as needed.Maintain tight tolerances and ensure parts meet quality standards.Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment in good working order.Follow all safety and quality procedures.Qualifications:5+ years of CNC setup and programming experience preferred.Experience with Mazak CNC lathes and machining centers required.Mazatrol programming experience preferred.Strong understanding of G-Code and M-Code programming.Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.Proficient with micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods.Lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of machined parts.Why Apply?$28.00–$30.00/hour DOE + $2.00/hour shift differential.Full-time, long-term opportunity with potential for permanent hire.Weekly pay through Express Employment Professionals.Stable manufacturing environment with opportunities for advancement.Three Ways to Apply:Apply online.Call (440) 571-5185 to schedule an interview.Text "CNC SETUP" to (440) 571-5185 to get started today.
