Description
Grace Manufacturing is a contract manufacturing facility, specializing in medical devices. We are seeking qualified candidates for a CNC Setup Operator position at our facility in Russellville, AR.
This position is a full-time, 2nd Shift, non-exempt position and is responsible for setting up and operating CNC equipment including Okuma and Mori Seiki Lathes, Citizen Swiss machines, Okuma and Haas machining centers.
Key Responsibilities:
· Create/follow setup sheets to tear down and setup CNC equipment (tooling, fixtures, offsets, bar loaders, etc.)
· Troubleshoot new CNC programs and edit G code at the machine when required during initial product launch phase
· Be a technical resource for operators during production runs when issues arise and train new/existing operators on CNC equipment
· Running production will be required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have/Be:
· High School diploma or GED is required
· Technical degree or formal technical/vocation education is a plus
· A good understanding of geometry, trigonometry, and cartesian planes
· An ability to read and understand G-code is required
· Attention to detail and quality
· Experience with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, pin gauge, etc.)
· 2 years of CNC machining experience is required (milling and turning)
· 2 years of CNC setup experience is required (dual spindle and Swiss lathe experience a plus)
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret part prints and specifications supplied by internal and external customers including GD&T standards
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Good computer skills (Microsoft office)
