Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals is hiring a skilled CNC Set-Up Technician to join our 2nd

shift operations and who’s looking for a company to grow with. The right candidate will be able to set up machines, prove new programs and troubleshoot any issues. We are looking for a skilled set up technician who is able to come in and run the machines after being trained in our processes.

Responsibilities:

• Install tooling/work holding per instructions into the CNC equipment based on setup work instructions
• Set up the CNC equipment with correct work holding, tooling, and parts to perform the job
• Troubleshooting issues with machine programming
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers and other team members
• Inspect and maintain equipment

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years CNC Set up experience or related machining experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical, mathematical and computer skills
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics and other documents
• GD&T; Understanding how to use datums, feature control frames, and symbols to describe the conditions and tolerances of a part- a plus
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
